About The Job

Med-Chem is seeking a Healthcare Professional Sales & Business Development Manager to own and drive our HP channel. This individual will be responsible for developing, expanding, and managing relationships with healthcare professionals (HPs), practices, integrative pharmacies, and wellness clinics. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and operations – working cross-functionally to optimize the professional channel strategy for all Med-Chem products.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and relationship-driven sales professional with experience selling into HP audiences, including naturopaths, integrative MDs, chiropractors, dentists, functional medicine practitioners, and nutritionists. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with direct responsibility for revenue growth and professional account success.

 


What You’ll Do

  • Lead all sales and business development activities within the Healthcare Professional (HP) channel.
  • Identify, target, and onboard new HP accounts and professional distributors.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key HPs, clinics, and institutions.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies including cold calling, email campaigns, conference networking, and referral programs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create professional education content, promotional campaigns, and sales tools tailored to HCPs.
  • Work with supply chain and operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment, inventory coordination, and customer service for HCP accounts.
  • Manage CRM and sales reporting tools to track KPIs, funnel development, and performance metrics.
  • Attend and represent Med-Chem at relevant healthcare conferences, expos, and virtual events.
  • Provide market feedback to help guide new product launches, pricing models, and account support needs.
  • Build scalable playbooks, repeatable outreach strategies, and documentation for long-term channel growth.
  • Possible travel for industry trade shows, seminars and other in-person events.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management — ideally in a health, supplement, functional medicine, or natural products category.
  • Proven track record of closing sales and building pipelines within a healthcare professional audience.
  • Strong knowledge of the integrative health ecosystem: functional medicine, naturopathy, dentistry, and allied practitioners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • CRM and sales software fluency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Experience coordinating with marketing and operations/supply chain teams.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Passion for wellness, health education, and professional empowerment.
  • Self-starter who thrives on autonomy, ownership, and revenue accountability.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in dietary supplements, natural health, or functional foods.
  • Previous experience selling to or working with healthcare professionals.
  • Experience with professional dispensaries (e.g., Fullscript, Wellevate, or similar platforms).
  • Trade show/event sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health sciences, nutrition, or a related field.



Compensation

US Salary Range $75,000 – $150,000+ USD (Base + 2x OTE)
